How to get there?
Wonders of Sand is held every year at Beauchamp Lake Park in Gatineau (745, Maloney Blvd East).
By car
From Montreal
- Take Highway 40 West
- Continue on Highway 417 (Ontario border)
- Follow directions to Ottawa
- Take the Riverside Parkway/Vanier Parkway Exit
- Take the Vanier Parkway on-ramp
- Turn right onto Vanier Parkway and continue for 3 km
- Turn left on St-Patrick
- Turn right on King Edward Ave.
- Continue on to the Macdonald-Cartier Bridge (for Hull/Highway 5)
- Take the Highway 50 Exit (for Gatineau/Montreal)
- Continue on Highway 50 East
- Take the Maloney Blvd. Exit
- Continue on Maloney Blvd for 6 km
- The Beauchamp Lake Park entrance is located to your left (745, Maloney Blvd. East)
From Highway 15, via Highway 50 and Route 148
- From Highway 15, take the Highway 50 West Exit and follow directions to the Mirabel Airport/Lachute/Hull
- Take Highway 50 West
- Highway 50 ends in Lachute. Turn left on Route 148.
- Follow Route 148 to Gatineau
- Continue on Route 148, which becomes Maloney Blvd.
- The Beauchamp Lake Park entrance is located to your right (745, Maloney Blvd. East)
From Aylmer
- Follow Aylmer Road towards Hull
- Continue on Aylmer Road, which becomes Alexandre-Taché Bldv.
- Turn left onto Montcalm
- Turn right on to Highway 50 East towards Gatineau
- Take the Maloney Blvd Exit
- Continue on to Maloney Blvd for about 6 km
- The Beauchamp Lake Park entrance is located to your left (745, Maloney Blvd. East)
Wonders of Sand Shuttle Service
Get to Beauchamp Lake Park easily by hoping on board the STO’s Wonders of Sand Shuttle Service:
- 9 :45 AM to 5 :15 PM from the Ste-Maria-Goretti Church
- $3 per trip to the site / FREE return-trip
- FREE for children (11 and under)
